Teaching CAD
Over the summer, we educated underprivileged youth across Bay Area about the intricacies of CAD: Through a problem-solving teaching approach, we inspired the students to engage with the basic CAD principles of Tinkercad to create a bridge. As we guided the students through their experimentation, we witnessed their interest in STEM and encouraged them to join the FIRST community to build robots just like us
Java in Robotics Workshops
In addition to our CAD and Programming workshops, Poseidon partnered with SJPL’s Village Square Branch Library to offer a robotics workshop where we challenged young minds with a simple robotics challenge. Participants acquired knowledge in CAD, programming with Java, and the mechanics of an FTC-compatible robot.
Robotics Fair at Central Library
Poseidon Robotics partnered with nine other FTC teams to present our shared motives, goals, and plans to the community. We engaged with local parents to help launch new FLL teams, introducing the fun of FIRST to a younger audience. Through this, inspired future innovators to explore robotics from an early age.
